The Guo Lab is dedicated to advancing our understanding of posttranscriptional regulation and RNA metabolism in muscle structure and function. Our research focuses particularly on the RBM20–titin pathway and its critical roles in striated muscle biology, encompassing cardiomyopathies, heart failure, and skeletal muscle hypertrophy and regeneration. We employ both in vitro and in vivo models to dissect molecular mechanisms and disease pathways. The long-term goal of the Guo Lab is to develop innovative RNA-based therapeutic strategies aimed at improving human health and enhancing animal production efficiency.
